The crack of the door
Shines the brightest light
Impossible to reach
But a beautiful sight
Quickly it closes
Leaving my view
Though stuck in my head
Is the wonder I never knew
New doors appear
None better than the last
As my mind wanders
Still stuck in the past
Time eases the pain
And I forget what I've known
Taking an interest
In what I am shown
Light shines on me
And I enter the door
Into a world
Closed nevermore
