You've gotta dance like there's nobody watching,
Love like you'll never be hurt,
Sing like there's nobody listening,
And live like it's heaven on earth.”

― William W. Purkey

You’ve looked into my eyes and oh how shallow they may seem
their dark brown just a surface to where in lies my wildest dreams

Did you know deep down inside my heart my fears and sorrows teem?

How could you know…? For you shall never be like me.

You can see the way I walk and talk, what I stand for and obey
but how could you ever know my deepest thoughts or the tears I keep at bay?

How could you know…? For in my shoes you’ll never lay.

Deep down inside my anger boils and seethes as a cauldron set ablaze.

You don’t see that which each word, you draw me closer to my day.

How could you know…? What it feels like in my place

The words you let roll off your tongue, the blows you give without remorse

why don’t you realize that one’s actions send another’s life off course?

I hope you know, your own fatality you sew

Oh why do I feel my own destruction overcoming me each day?

It’s hard to be a friend when loneliness is my decay.

My happiness as none, my once bright smile stripped away, thanks to you, I shall never be the same

But one day you will know, it will not only be I,
Who is beaten down and broken, disembodied by life’s lies

I await the day you understand the pain I feel inside
And then you’ll finally know what it feels like on my side

I wont go into to much detail becuase this poem is very personal to me. I just want to say that i is meant to remind us of others feelings and how our simple insults and gestures can really hurt others more than we can see.
