Rhythm and Beat
A drum, taught and solid,
beats its own rhythm,
dancing through the city,
beaming with the victory of
luring everyone into its magic.
I feel it tugging,
pulling and pressing past
my guard.
Should I give in?
Or am I
my own drum,
designed to beat
its own rhythm?

Anyways I think it's amazing. Your poem is short but it has a deep meaning.
