Half Past Infinite in Floating Town
Infinite.
A word not commonly used to describe things that are sporadic.
Not used to describe a moment, a heart of a second in time.
But moments can in fact be as infinite as the galaxy.
As infinite as the lips of a dampened passion.
Infinity could go on for miles, or for mere minutes.
Minutes that tick down to the very last words of a broken soul.
Somewhere, searching, in a selfish city,
Is a delusional mind.
A mind that will not rest until it has vanished.
Gone forever into a vast world of unlikely promises.
Promises that can't easily be kept.
Promises that will one day unbind themselves from that dusty library of forgotten thoughts.
Thoughts that where stolen from a nightmare.
Ripped from a mindset.
And will now haunt his dreams for the remainder of his infinity
