TIME
Countless minutes looking at a keyboard
re-reading, hesitant to press the “enter” key,
Over complicating on simple words
to impress my teacher,
To get a grade just shy of 60%
just a mere 110 more points,
Thinking, is it worth it?
should I move on to something else?
So many other assignments to complete
easier than the last,
Collections, making poetry out of poetry
Tornadoes and public speakers,
Countless hours looking at a keyboard
re-reading, hesitant to press the “enter” key,
