We’re Just Friends MAG
A smile here,
A touch there,
You brush the hair out
of my eye.
And, oh,
the goosebumps rise
on my skin.
Like a field of wildflowers,
they spread across my body.
Leaning on my shoulder,
you are looking at me,
and every one of our
friends are waiting for
the moment.
But we're just friends.
I remember that time in
my room.
We were sitting on the floor
and we were watching movies.
You rested your head in
my lap and felt my skin
through a hole
in my tights.
Again you torture me with
my implications
set up by your actions,
even though you seem to be filled
with innocence.
Here we sit,
your hand on my knee,
and neither of us have bothered
to move it away.
But we're just friends.
Just friends.
Friends.
