An Ocean Walk
The wind blows, whipping our hair as we walk towards the crashing waves. They rise higher, sending up a spray of water upon its impact against a towering rock. The water, as it sprays, fills the air with a salty mist as seagulls fly above us, screeching. My toes touch the damp sand, leaving a trail of footprints in the muddy Earth. Kites soar, whipping to and fro with each billowing gust of the wind. The suns shines through the clouds, reminding us that it is still there as we walk, arms linked to the edge of the water.
