I've memorized you the same way teachers
make us memorize quotes for tests
and you're eteched into my mind just like
the way your finger prints etched their way into
your home in my chest.
I know your favourite songs and the way you take
your tea. I know your voice and the way your eyes
light up and the way you look at me.
I know you.
I know you.

And I will not forget you becuase now you're
my shadow, my echoes, the blood in my veins.
My backbone, my muse, the one who keeps me sane.
