Miles and Miles Away
She fell in love
when she least expected it
With the person
she never should have fallen in love with
He was perfect in every way possible
And she was the complete opposite
But despite the scars and marks and flaws
he made her feel beautiful
She'd fall asleep to the sound of his voice
Every night, the same routine
But the soft and distant lullabies
weren't enough for her empty heart
Because he doesn't know she exists
And the boy who lives
miles and miles away
Could never love her or feel the same
