The fire rises to above and down
below
it dances in my eyes
as the people gether around it
and take in the night sky
the life of the fire breathes into us
and gives us words that were once unspoken
to fix the things that were once broken
its life stumbles and rolls into one another's stories
all of them were full of hope,sin,love, and glory
and as the fire stretches high
here we are again
captured by the night
with twinkling stars in our sights
as they fall with the rain
it falls into our eyes
and pulls us down once again to our lives
for the sky becomes lost in a sea of clouds
and our memories fall with the fire
into the earth
and are buried deep
but the fire has not died from within
in our hearts it has rebirthed
and this fire will never go to sleep
