The Process
Boy, you're good.
You make girls believe,
Believe they're pretty.
You make them feel relieved.
I had been waiting
For a long time.
Then that's when it clicked and i thought,
"Baby, you a dime."
So many questions.
So many thoughts.
Was any of it true?
All the crap I'd bought.
I called you sweet.
You called me pretty.
I liked you a lot,
Not just little bitty.
I should have known,
It wasn't going to last.
You are you...
You have a long past.
If you preferred her,
You should have told me.
You lead me on...
Now it's you and she.
As time goes by,
I am not sad.
Once I think about it,
I get kinda mad.
At first I was upset,
And tears filled my eyes.
Now I'm full of rage,
And tired of the lies.
