the demon
there's a demon on my shoulder
she whispers sweet intoxications into my ear
"why lovely, can't you see, how better the world would work, if you were to just no longer be here?
come, take a journey with me,
lets go somewhere far far away where you can do no harm"
this demon will no got away
no matter how hard i try
her words shatter through my eardrums
and put bruises on my heart
no music could cure the diseases
that she plants into my soul
my aching lungs give strength to the hell that lives inside my heart
"you no longer have a place here darling. come, come with me"
she convinces me with her words of ecstasy drowning out the sounds of love i no longer receive
for she is the demon that rests upon my shoulder
and the words that guide me out of my misery
