Today's Sermon
It was so powerful,
It could have moved the world’s tectonic plates.
It left some calling out in deep deep agony,
And to others, it let flow their salty-watered gates.
I was inevitably moved by this wave of connection.
I had never seen such a wave of infliction.
I watched as some recoiled in pain,
And others try to erase their forever imprinted stain.
My arms remained locked,
But my heart was all open.
I understood the content,
But got lost in its effect
