Too Much
Do I have to many piercings to fit
In your precious window of beauty?
Am I too curvy to sit
In your bedazzled throne apathy ?
Do I have too many colors in my hair?
Too much booty for my jeans to be flared?
Too many wrinkles to look young and cool?
Too many freckles to make the boys drool?
Sadly too much is never enough,
For you and your world of Photoshop.
Too much, you’d say, is excess,
To me that sounds more like you’re jealous.
Because I am too fierce to care,
Too carefree to brush my hair,
Too confident to let your hateful words,
Convince me that in this world
Beauty can be too much for a boy or girl.
