My Generation
You think our teen lives are fun and dandy?
How about those college costs skyrocketing to the ceiling?
How about that rising level of stress and anxiety?
How about the growing number of broken families?
Schools shootings are at an all time high.
Moods are at an all time low.
We’re products of divorce, products of lies
So down is the only way we know how to go.
But our parents seem to think
That our lives are pure perfection.
No taxes to push us to the brink?
How about bullying, and constant humiliation?
Teenagers should scare you
For we are all sick with distress.
This generation is a product of your mess.
So give us a break before our big test
