Why I Read
Some ask me why I read.
Don't I have better things to do!
Tweets to be tweeted! my friend suggested.
Well, no, for when you tweet you're still you.
But when I read I'm a princess of a distant land.
I'm a baby boy, a 90 year old man.
I am all that my imagination can find.
Most importantly I live everyone's life but mine.
Oh, don't pity me, my life ain't so bad.
But it's sometimes dull to be a mortal girl.
There are so many adventures to be had!
So forgive me twitter, I must read to be the world.
