Day Dreamers
Daydreams are too fun to overcome
A moment in time shared with two people
That can't be together but
Enjoy the other too much to not try
Sitting in your truck
On a rainy summer night
Or watching Pretty in Pink at your house
Snuggled close to you
Fighting with swords as the enemy comes closer
A game I hadn't expected to enjoy
Our fantasys end soon
And I sit here alone,
Remembering
When you daydreamed I was yours
And I daydreamed you were mine
