Willingly Anonymous

Peace
To me
Is merely an
Illusion
The world
Is stilled
And moving at once
Life
Shifting and
Changing and
Continuously
Carrying its willing
Occupants along
But this life
Is hard
Full of
Pain
And sorrow
And ups and
Downs
Who wants to
Live
This way?
My pain has
Risen from
Its depths
The dark cannot
Block the light,
But it can
Make you
Believe
It has.
I know all this
And more,
But I still
Yearn for the
More
Complete
Darkness
It is better
I believe
To have all dark
Than to have to hope for more light.
So I would rather
Not
Continue to run through
A cycle
Of eating and
Breathing and
Sleeping
Where everything else
Blends together as
More
Pain
And
Pressure
For others, they can
Distinguish moments
in their memories
as happy or sad
But I cannot separate
and walk on
With a false
Smile
So I rest
in a
Tight
Gritty
Noose
with a
Single
Piece of
Paper
Of my wish.

The author's comments:
Don't worry, I'm not suicidal. I just wanted to frankly express how the world revolves daily, so continuous so that I can see how some people want to escape.
