They can break you into a million jagged pieces..
Words.
They can hurt you.
They can kill you.
They can put you into a coma of silence.
But they can help you.
They can help you up.
They can give you confidence.
They can heal you.
They can mend you.
They can love you, and they can encourage you to say something.
My whole life I’ve been beaten.
Mistreated.
Bullied.
Depressed.
Made fun of.
I’m not one to speak up.
I just can’t find a reason to.
But when I see someone being bullied…
I know I can stop it.
With just one word.
“Stop.”
