For Hours
I'm laying in a hammock at a party.
Being a complete loner.
I dream of you, and we are dancing.
My right hand is occupied with your left.
Your free hand rests on my waste, sending tingles through my body.
I could have danced with you for hours.
But eventually you left me lonely on the dance floor.
So I lay here now, and stare up between the leaves into the galaxy,
And dream of how I wanted that night to end.
