Dying for a High; Dying for the feeling

Stoop lower than the ground and

Get higher than the ceiling

You say it's not an addiction; Just a conviction

Life gives you the road; You choose the direction

It's not a disease; Just an infection

That leaves you stranded in the desert;

With a phone but no reception

Drugs are broken hearts and promises;

Only leads to dead ends

Doesn't always take your life;

Just your family and friends

Stop making excuses or trying to be the coolest

Put down the drugs and live life to the fullest

Surrender to God; Stop wasting tears

Take time to listen; That's why he gave you ears

Giving your all; In return getting nothing

If you are going to trip and fall;

There is no point in running

Don't run from your problems; Face them with pride

And if you mess up at least you can say you tried

Don't ever stop trying; Don't ever give in

Cause drugs are the foundation;

To build a platform of sins.
