Sunset
"The blinding white ebbs downwards,
Drawing its curtain firm,
The achromatic sphere,
Spiraling to the horizon,
And beneath -its comfort.
The haze of yellow trails by,
Following the brighter hues,
Then orange to crimson,
Do the range of colors shift.
And last does the servant-violet,
End the show tidily
To end the show- limmediately,
By an abyss of murky black.
Of darkness of such solitude,
And despair crawls into mind,
Until at last the ethereal stars,
Illuminate the empyrean."
