The Birth
She soars high
in the copper sky
with stellar wings of silver,
looming over the earth.
Her ghastly womb rattles,
and her piercing screeches resonate
as she slowly dives,
giving birth to her Little Boy,
swaddled in grey mushroom clouds.
And his cry echoed through time and flesh
as the city burned to feed his fire.
