wrong
I can’t get past the beauty in her eyes,
My heart pounds and my mind flies,
I can’t get past her smile no matter how hard I try,
Everyone wants to know but I won’t let them pry,
But it seems so hard to forget her name,
I know that I want to play her game,
I can’t tell if it’s worth the time of day,
Even though I know the attraction is one-way,
Paying attention to her is like a drug I can’t escape it,
I know I shouldn’t but I keep on trying to get a hit,
She is so lethal with her snarky words that cut so deep,
I pray that the poison doesn’t kill me faster the deeper it seeps,
She gives me that look that makes my skin crawl,
I jump through hoops to make her happy I know that it could make me fall,
She seems so oblivious to my feelings as she goes around driving me crazy,
She is my drug and she’s making things hazy,
I know she isn’t into me but I still get caught up in her game,
She is so fine with being wild,
She knows I’m the crazy wild child,
That is known for the trouble I can cause,
She thinks we are the perfect duo never letting doubts get me to pause,
I know that things can’t stay this way forever,
But is it so wrong for me to pretend we could be perfect together,
I know that she is out of my league but she makes it so easy to forget that fact,
As she kisses me to seal our pact,
I know we could never truly be,
But a girl can hope cant she?
