Tell Me Why
You don't have to pretend.
Blending in
for fear of rejection.
Camouflaged in blades of grass,
of which all are alike.
Why do you mask yourself?
Why hide behind a facade?
Put out of sight, as a frightened chameleon
senses the ambiance.
Tell me, isn't it better to be individual?
Beauty is the unchanged chameleon.
Tell me, isn't it better than disguise?
Beauty is who you are.
You don't have to pretend.
