The Sky, The water, and Us

I was jealous of the way
The clouds touched the sky
Like two lovers after a vow.
I envied the way the sea
kissed the shore endlessly
And how the water kept coming back
No matter how hard the battle was to push away.
I was drowning in the loneliness around me
Only to realize it was the only thing
That made me want to swim
