Where you sit there and gaze
At the sky that never overplays?

Do you ever have those days
Where you sit there and gaze
At the wind that sways
At the sun and its rays
At the child who obeys
At the girl who weighs
At the man who prays
At the friend that betrays
At the people that praise
At the seagulls in the bays
At the world and its craze
At the fire and its blaze
At the life and its maze?
Do you ever have those days
Where you sit there and gaze
At the world that can amaze?
