Which of These Is Not Like The Others?
“It gets better.” How would you know?
“Just hide them.” I do, but I have no place to go.
“Promise me you won’t cut again.” I promise, fingers crossed.
“Stay strong!” I would, except I’m just so lost.
“You just do it for attention.” Well, good thing I never get any!
“Don’t they hurt?” Not anymore, because there’s just so many.
“I’m gonna tell on you.” Go ahead, see if they care.
“But you have such a good life!” Really? Did you really just go there?
“Why can’t you be normal?” Yeah, I know, right?
“The scars make you look ugly.” Well, I gave up the fight.
So please stop asking me about the scars that I did on my own,
you don’t have to be the good Samaritan, please, just leave me alone.
