The storm approaches
like an elephant
A grey pachyderm
Spraying water everywhere
It flashes its trunk
Followed by a loud trumpet
Blowing
A wave of wind
whistled and washed
over me
Majestic and calm
yet clumsy and furious
The storm approaches
and moves on
True friends are
those we can depend on
Through thick and thin
Through loss and win
Not like storms
Nor clouds nor time
Which drift by
True friends
weather every weather
Together
