The snow reached up past my tall boots
The sound of crunching as I walk
Balls of snow flying above while tiny flakes fall below
Smell of sweet frost lingering in the air
Big coats, heavy sweaters
I go inside to warm by the fire
Hot chocolate and cinnamon buns touch my lips
Sliding in fuzzy socks across the floor
I snuggle up in a blanket and look outside
thinking to myself
what a magnificent winter wonderland
