The Sun's Children
They crawled towards the rising sun and fiddled with opening their magic. Twining and tangling, they get caught at the throat: choking them back down into the shadows. Gathering their strength to face the blinding fire, the interlaced ringlets of beauty will their fragile heads to take a longing peek. Opening into the evelasting rays, the fist opens and wiggles its five fingers. The buds have been reborn into something new: a sparking flower.
