o you hear yourself speak?
I think people don't realize what they say,
You sound ridiculous.
Mouth widens.
Oh please shut up,
Your conversations have no meaning -- to me.
Eyes squint.
Eyes roll.
Poker face.
Right.
I come off rude,
I wear my emotions on my sleeve.
Mouth puckers.
It is none of my business,
Emotions must remain hidden.
Constantly reminding myself to hide my thoughts.
Feelings, emotions.
Hide it, Poker face.

The author's comments:

This peace is a reflection of my daily struggle to hide my emotions when those around me say stupid things.
