I too had a dream,

a dream long ago,

I had a dream to

spread my wings and go

float among the angels

fly in the lonely sky,

I too had a desire ,

to soar higher and higher,

To peck on the soft brown earth .

a dream i too had

the day mum gave birth!

To swim in the light blue waves

pat my legs on the tidal giants

a dream to sing a song

a dream kept caged for long!

Now,you have let me free,

what use is it to me

for i know not how to fly

i know not how to swim

i know not how to wade

i know not how to fend

for myself,after all these years,I

know not how to live

Cause i have forgotten how to dream

SIGH!

a bird with a broken wing am i!!
