the world has in it so many things..we ought to be happy as the noble kings

You write of gushing 'sounds'

of the river as it winds

over valleys mountains and mounds

Slips and slides and in its course finds

a nightingale perched upon a tree

casting forth her melody.

You write when the sun shines,

bright at its zenith

it hums with a tune of its own

and that when thousand little bees

scurry over the garden ..

the 'buzz' and go forth.

I have seen the trees dance and sway

I have felt the cool of the water gay

the sun has often kissed me

and so has the rainbows mirth

and i have seen the birds flutter.

But not once in my life have i 'heard'

them buzz..hum..or rustle.

Not once have  heard the song of the rain,

though many claim so

I wonder why havent I.

I really wonder why??

What difference does these

queries and wonder make to me

for it is an eternal truth

that i speak word ..

express ideas

and sing songs that

I myself do never hear!!
