Like a Sofa
Sofas are relaxing and chill, I am like a sofa, because I’m very nonchalant and laid back. Like a book, judged by its cover, if not up to standards, gets criticized and talked about from they way we look or seem to be. Sometimes they're normal and blend in, like the basic living room sofa. Sometimes flashy, with frillies, designs, and patterns, and tend to stand out. Sofas are comfortable and people are comfortable around me and talking to me. People lean on us for support and advice, relying on us to stay strong for them through all the problems and weight they plop down onto us. They drop their loose change, secrets, onto us, overlooking the fact that we have our own problems and worries. We get worn out and fall apart on the inside, but make certain not to show it. The fabric still stays intact. No one thinks of how you feel. And after time and time of repeatedly being used, being taken advantage of, the unappreciation, and being carelessly handled, sooner or later the fabric tears...because everything breaks down at some point...
