Red Eyes

What if there was a way
to see the world turned upside-down
with kaleidoskope eyes?
Suddenly everything is jumbled
yet clear.
Where are you?
Shuttering lights. glaring. Crack!
Two red eyes burn holes in your skin
and you realize.
Monsters are everywhere
Your hand plunges through the mirror
and what you grasp doesn't make sense.
You feel nothing but everything.
You are the red eyes.
