You are a guide, as you shows us the right way
You are a painter, as you paints our life everyday
You are an astrologer, as you predict the future of your students
You have goodness, for our welfare, which is very much abundant

You have a unique way of explaining things,
It almost seems your words have wings
But sometimes your words fly over our head,
In that case we feel like going to bed.

You give us work, that sometime bears as a burden,
That rotates us from India to Melbourne
But when you ask question in a strict way,
then it becomes a bad day,
Flushing of mind occur, a single word we can't utter.

Sometimes we feel our future is insecure,
But then you are the remedy which acts as a cure,
Today we say you please,
Let's smile and say cheese.

Today is your day, and we promise, being very frank
That we won't misbehave, nor pull a new prank

On this auspicious day,
Help us make our doubts fly away,
So that we could have a bright future,
With the help of such an amazing creature.
