Stargazing in Summer

Supported by the earth beneath our feet and the flimsy plastic above our heads,
We looked up through the see through screen.
I gazed at him as his eyes reflected the light of the suns of another world
And for a moment, he caught my gaze,
Time slowed for a second,
And I felt the energy that I was sending into the earth recycled to him, and him to me
Like the rain cycle
on that dewy summer night.
