Midnight Thoughts

They storm the gates
They break the locks
They have no brakes
These midnight thoughts
They crumble my walls
They have me caught
They run my halls
These midnight thoughts
They bring a tear
They can't be fought
They cause my fear
These midnight thoughts
I've hit the fence
For I am caught
I have no defense
As I surrender to thought
