It's darker then it seems...

In the shadows you cast. The more you succeed the darker it gets.

So, is it wrong of me to wish you don't succeed just so it doesn't get any darker than it already is? just for once i want to be in the spot light, not just to be better than you you but because it's so dark in these shadows.

I'm trying to find my way out of these shadows but every time I mange to get a light to find my way out, you manage to get rid that light so it's even darker.

So I'm asking you to please long enough for me to catch up so i can be beside you and not in your shadows.
