Tears
They fill up the endless void that we call life
They consume every nook and cranny
This world is filled with them
Because this world is a cruel and twisted place
Where true happiness is a needle in a haystack
Debt
Death
Depression
Fear
Millions succumb to the darkness
Millions never find the light and get lost
Spending the rest of eternity searching
Searching
Searching
But find nothing
There is nothing
Tears
They fill the oceans, ponds, lakes, rivers, and seas
The angel cry because of what they see unfold
They want to help
But are put behind a slate of glass
Left only to watch the darkness unfold
Tears
It's surprising that there's ever been drought
When there's an abundance of tears
Tears of joy though
Come few and far between
Because when you're taken over by the twisting tendril of darkness
You have nothing to be happy for
Tears
They fill up the endless void that we call life
Because this world is a sick, cruel, twisted place
Where true happiness is a needle in a haystack
