A Moment
There's always a moment
A moment when you feel the world stop spinning
Feel your world crashing down
A moment when you realize that you're maybe just a little too far gone
You wish you could disappear
But that's not exactly right
You don't want to disappear you're just wishing to be found
You take a moment to think
Think about your life so far, but that's the thing
You look to the past and present; never to the future
A moment you take to look at the decision before you
Look at your choice between what you see as a life of pain
And what you see as release from your suffering
What you don't realize
Is that one moment
That one decision of release
Can cause a whole different kind of pain for someone else
Because suddenly, poof, you're gone in a single moment
And in that moment
You cause another pain
Because, in a world of what you saw as suffering, never looking for the light
You missed the single light that you always needed
Missed the moment where one person said,
I love you
