I am a soldier
Fighting battles
Waging wars
Pushing against the tide of life
I am a soldier
Enemies at my front
Friends at my back
We fight in this war called life
I am a soldier
Unaware I fall
Wounded, dying
Where are my friends?
Where are my allies?
Suddenly I realize
I was stabbed
from behind.
