Fire Fire Burning bright

Lighting up the sky at night

Embers flare as fires blaze
Neath the thickest city's haze

Hear the crackling, burning pop
Feel the flames touch as you hop

And try to run away
Though fire calls "Oh please do stay!"

Thin blades of flame dance about
Twisting, turning, disguising your shout

Your distant cry of pain
But what will you find left to gain

If you found escape from the following flame
If the fire's power was fondly made tame

Running through the burning smoke
What is here for fire to stoke

Step light and quick
The clock's fast tick
