Be careful what you wish for - it might just come true.

Dear child,
Why do you doubt?
Why do you worry about the future,
And why do you cower in the darkness?

Do you not know who I am?
I Am the calm, the peace amidst the storm.
Do no fear -
I will protect you from the world.

Dear child,
Why must you run?
Why do you call for help,
Yet plunge into danger head-first?

When you are alone,
I Am there.
You will be attacked,
But nothing will break the wall I have built around you.

Dear child,
This is not your home.
Whatever you may feel,
Do not curse and pull away from me.
Your fears, your worries, your strife,
None of it will surpass my love for you.

So dear child,
Remember I am here.
Remember this is not your home.
Remember I am waiting for you,
In your real home.

Woah.  That's all I can say.  I guess that's all you can say when someone's poem is that good.
