As I glide through the soft snowflakes,
my feathers flourish,
Twigs crackle in the near distance,
mice scurry on a sparkling sheet of snow.
So I dive down with a swoosh, and snatch a mouse.
I shake the snow off of my wings,
I flap my wings,
beating my wings against the hail,
hovering, seeking shelter.
I Rest in a tall pine tree.
Feeling brisk for the frosty days,
I glide through the soft snowflakes.
