When you said goodnight
It was the same goodnight that you said to her
When she kissed you
It was the same way you kissed her
When you waved goodbye
You were saying hello
When you came in empty handed
She was filled with gold
When she read the letters you sent to her
And found out that every word you spoke
You have told twice
We knew there was another one
And you were not the same as before
