Ode to Green

What a magical color is green!
its far better than aquamarine
the color of grass, but not of the sky
the color of greed, but also my eyes
I give almost all other colors a frown
Red, blue, orange, and others around
because I know the color that’s best
(the same one by now that you could have guessed)
Green! Green! Marvelous green!
I tell you right now as you look at your screen
no color’s better, it is quite good
now the poem ends, just as it should
