Diary of a Survivor
You've been my rock,
my go to person for everything.
I go to you when I'm feeling down,
when I need comfort.
You tell me everything is okay.
that you're here for me.
You constantly watch over me.
even though you might not know it.
Your voice echo's in my ears.
it keeps me calm and stable.
Your smile can light up a room,
no matter how dark it is.
But it's not real,
none of it.
The truth is,
you're no where even close to me.
You're traveling the world,
giving others happiness and protection too.
Through your sweet melody.
I am to believe that you care.
I'm one individual out of many,
and yet you still love.
I'll continute to follow you,
because you've cared when no one did.
You see thousands of people,
and can go to sleep without a second thought.
I see you,
but you don't see me.
