Color Spectrum
Martin Luther King Jr.
Had a dream
Rooted in the dreams of America
That one day
Equality
Would exist
Between all members of the
Color
Spectrum
White
Could Equal
Black
Could Equal
All the shades in between
And while palettes
With globs of
Multicultural
Paint
Have been fashioned,
The paintbrush rarely
Double-dips.
My friends,
My equals,
Although the paint stokes are
Short
and
Shallow
At least the colors can
Hold hands
On a
Canvas
